About Us

Odin Maxwell

Odin Maxwell is a 1997 graduate of Gonzaga Law School. He has handled workers compensation claims as an attorney since 1997, both for the Department of Labor and Industries as an Assistant Attorney General, and as a private attorney representing injured workers. He is deeply familiar with the law, the Department's procedures, and the potential outcomes of Industrial Insurance Matters.

Mr. Maxwell’s personal interests include computer programming, CAD and CAM software, CNC machining, 3D printing, and making devices that interact with the real world using Arduino centered circuitry and sensors, as well as fishing, raising chickens, collecting eggs, and growing fruits, nuts, and vegetables.

Karen Webb

I graduated with my Law Degree from Willamette University in Salem, Oregon in 1996. After passing both the Washington and Oregon bar exams, I moved to Yakima, Washington in 1997. I worked as a Deputy Prosecuting Attorney in the Yakima County Prosecutor’s Office for almost 4 years. As a Deputy Prosecutor I handled a lot of jury trials and gained a lot of litigation experience. In 2001 I began working as an Assistant Attorney General in the Attorney General’s Office. I was assigned to handle Workers’ Compensation Appeals and represented the Department of Labor & Industries before the Board of Industrial Insurance Appeals. After many years of working as a government lawyer, I realized that I wanted to work on cases where I represented individual clients. I moved to beautiful Whatcom County and opened Maxwell & Webb with my business partner, Odin Maxwell, in 2003. When we opened our office our clients were exclusively injured workers with L&I claims, and I have been focused on fighting for the rights of injured workers ever since.

My favorite way to spend my free time is with my husband and our two fantastic children. We love to walk the hiking trails with our dog, kayak on the lake, and travel when we can. I also enjoy cooking, baking, reading, and volunteering at the Humane Society with my daughter.
